"We are Marlies and Nico Poepe and we are originally from Assen the Netherlands. Marlies was an operation assistant and Nico commanding officer at the airport fire brigade of Groningen Airport Eelde. We both had different working schedules, so we didn't see each other a lot. We no longer wanted this and with that the idea of starting a campsite together was born. Because we both love nature aswell as the interaction with other people. We love to make others feel at ease. Our life motto is: being outside, find joy and meeting new people... So come stay with us and enjoy this beautiful place!"
The campsite is situated at 150 km from Stockholm, in the country side with farms and many beautiful lakes and rivers. Nature is present everywhere and there is a good chance of spotting wildlife. You can sail into national park “Färnebofjarden” directly from the campsite. But it is also accessible by car or bike. It’s a perfect place for people that are looking for nature on it’s best and ¨peace and quiet¨. For those who are more into city sightseeing, the cities Borlänge, Falun, Västerås and Stockholm are very interesting and at a short distance from the campsite.
