Idyllically located at the edge of the town of Burträsk in Swedish Lapland. The campsite is located as a peninsula in Burträsket lake. From three different angles you can enjoy the views over the lake. Through the suspension bridge you will arrive at a forest covered island. A number of pitches is located directly at the lake. When you arrive at the campsite you will immediately loose track of time and place. You are warmly welcomed to come and unwind!
The small scaled and atmospheric campsite has about 45 pitches and dogs are very welcome too. There are two service buildings with a total of 10 toilets and 8 showers.
"We are Egbert Venema and Sandra Hilbrands. We have always been campers and visited mainly quiet and natural campsites. We've been thinking about running such a campsite ourselves for a while and 2 years ago we started our search in different countries. We ended up in Southern Lapland at Burträsk Camping. The location at the lake, the peace and the fantastic possibilities made us decide to buy the campsite. We offer our guests a pleasant and relaxing stay with a personal approach. We are very service and solution-oriented. The campsite radiates peace and space due to its natural location at the lake and is the ideal starting point of a tour through Swedish Lapland."
Burträsk Camping is located in the province of Västerbotten at the border of Swedish Lapland. In the village of Burträsk you will find several cosy shops and restaurants. Have a taste of the famous Västerbottensost cheese on a guided tour trough the factory. Visit Hembygdsgarden next to the campsite, an open-air museum with traditional historic buildings from the area. Sail onto the lake, take a refreshing dive and emerge totally reborn. Go on an adventurous walking or hiking tour trough the area and with a bit of luck: spot some elks!
Burträsk Camping is located at a 25-minute drive from Skellefteå airport.
